Serving the locally roasted Gold Feather coffee, this is the smoothest espresso I've had on the Peninsula. No bitterness in an Americano and excellent flavor. They've really got their process dialed in.
They have a variety of fresh baked loaves every time I've been in. They also do a bakers dozen (13th is free) punchcard for the loaves. Their harvest wheat is very good sandwich bread.
Their breakfast snacks are delicious. The egg in a biscuit is perfect for on-the-go fueling up... like an egg biscuit but in muffin form, so not as messy. The cinnamon buns are mountainous. The lunch sandwiches are just enough healthy food to get me through to dinner without any regret. The cream cheese schmear in lieu of mayo & a slice of cheese is a nice touch.
Overall I'm extremely impressed with Buena Luz. Workers are cheerful and helpful, yet keep the...
Read moreMy family and I needed a later lunch after coming from the National Park at Hurricane Ridge. This bakery was in the perfect location and we made it just in time, 30 minutes before they closed for the day. I rain in to grab some of their “Grab and Go” sandwiches but they only had one left for the day and I needed 4 sammies. I chose 4 different options from their menu and waited for about 7ish minutes for them to make. The staff were sweet and respectful, the sandwiches and the ciabatta bread were amazing! We shared all four of them between the family, and they were all so good! Some may think the prices are higher but that’s what happens when choosing quality ingredients and product. If you want something cheaper go to a fast food chain, I opted to support a local small business and invest in my heath with...

There are many options to choose from but I didn't feel the staff was super pleased to see us, not much was said to ask what we were looking for and if they could help us pick something. We got two Breakfast Sammies, two coffees, and last minute added the biscuit jam pastry. The coffee was average, but holy smokes were the pastries fantastic! The egg frittata on the sammie was so juicy, crispy meat, and homemade English muffin. We ate the biscuit jam pastry out on our backpacking trip and it was phenomenal. If you're in town visiting Olympic National Park, it's a good stop to get some homemade bread and make sandwiches, or grab...
