I'll have to rate it after it dries up. I only went part way in; it was just too harsh on my cars' underbody. Pretty disappointed. Where I lived in W MI, the shoreline parks, walkways, parking areas, etc. are well tended year round. There is always access. As far as I can tell, this area is pretty much inaccessible for individuals with disabilities. Wheelchair/walker users? I don't think so. Blind-well, that's MY area of expertise, and I can tell you the ruts, potholes, uneven terrain, etc. would play havoc with a white cane tip. There is so much potential here, it's unfortunate it's not well cared for. (I salute the Monday morning clean up crew on the Riverwalk. They are a pretty dedicated group!) Committees? Grants?...

Beautiful Trails & Path along the St Clair & Black River & Lake Huron. This Nature Trail.& Blue Water River Walk is Open during The Reopening of Michigan & Phase 6. We watched a Big Ship travel Up the River. My Brother & I wore Our Face Masks & used Social Distancing. We walked & enjoyed The Wildlife & Outdoors & Beautiful Views & Sounds. We could see The Big Freighters Docked In Sarnia, Canada. We saw all this from Port Huron , Michigan Side in the United States. This is a free Activity. And can be a good Educational Family Activity or Individual or A Couples Activity. We got to see a Navy Boat Docked in Port Huron called " The Grayfox ". That was pretty cool...

Best place to visit if you aren’t from the area. The only downside to the river walk is that Canada ruins the view with chemical valley over there. If you just focus on our side it’s peaceful place to walk right in downtown. You can walk the downtown strip and checkout all the stores. Then go directly to the riverwalk and it’s like an entirely different world. They have signs along the walk that teach the history of the land as well. Some info on the car ferry which was interesting as well as some info on it being Ancient Fishing/hunting grounds for the Native Americans! Highly recommend!

This is the best place to take your kids or dogs for a walk! You have a Nice Kept up walkway to follow, Go through the tunnel and check out the artwork, Walk along the river to the little beach area where you can get your toes wet or your pet can jump in! Some wood carvings and nice big grassy area for groups or gatherings. Lots of wildlife and a few little ponds/ Marsh areas where you can always find frogs and turtles hanging around. You will also find benches along the way to have a seat and just enjoy the scenery!

Beautiful walk with sculptures to see along the path, a few scenic overlooks with benches to sit on, and a new pavillion and pagoda area was added over the last year. There are 2 areas for swimming and I have seen people fishing along the waters edge of the walkway. Local wild flowers and foliage line the path on one side and you can catch glimpses of many native birds as well as huge freighters going up and down the river. The water always seems so blue and turquoise in some areas of the river. Beautiful place.
