Duneland Falls All-Inclusive Event Venue — Attraction in Portage

Where do I even begin!?! As an event coordinator myself once I got engaged, I thought to myself... I’ve been dreaming of this day my whole life. I know what my vision is and what I want.. I got this! Ha... WRONG! (Insert Covid) i had my ceremony in an outside venue and with Covid hitting they only allowed me to have 25 guests. I had to chang my whole wedding venue and start from scratch! Booking Duneland Falls was the best decision I made and truly was a blessing in disguise that I had to move venues. Angelique and I bonded going over every little detail, I emailed her a million times making sure every box was checked... TWICE! Haha! Once it was time for the final details Angelique made our vision come to life, changing all the linens a few different times because I wanted to see multiple options when picking our colors/ table clothes. She kept me sane when I wanted to have a “bridal moment” Thru the 6 months after booking Angelique kept reaching out to me asking if I have any questions or if anything has changed. She kept me up to date on Governors orders and mask mandate by forwarding direct emails from the health department. She made me feel at ease that my day was still going to be perfect no matter what!

A perk to choosing Duneland Falls they do in house flowers! I strongly encourage every bride to have Angelique and her team make the flowers! They were incredible and everything I visioned!

Leading up to our big day I kept checking the weather, going back and forth on wanting to move our ceremony outside again. I emailed her and she encouraged me to put it out there! 70 degrees and sunny on a November day! I’ll take it!! The day was more than perfect! We rented out the bridal suite to get ready in. The room was clean and the food/ drinks just kept on coming! Angelique kept checking on us all day and just couldn’t stop telling us how beautiful we all looked!

My biggest worry I kept thinking about was having another wedding in the other room at the same time ours was! I was so worried we were going to hear their music and their wedding to come crash ours! Well that wasn’t the case at all! We didn’t once hear any other music! 🙌🏼

At the end of day everything was perfect. The small things I was worried about ended up being no worry at all! Angelique and her team are amazing and I would recommend them...

I got married here in October of 2022 and I could not recommend a better place to have your wedding. It’s very rare to find an all inclusive wedding venue that is still amazingly priced.

From day 1 Angelique was beyond helpful and knowledgeable. From sharing my Pinterest board and sending photos to her so she can bring my dream to life. She did just that. Every email, text, phone call were quickly answered! Angelique helped me run our rehearsal because I had no idea what I was doing. She even allowed us to go look at reception since it was all set on the day before. It was beautiful.

Decor, food, flowers, and a ceremony site all in one spot is an opportunity nobody should pass up. Not having to worry about having someone pickup flowers is truly a huge stress reliever.

The chocolate fountain was an amazing touch and we loved that that was also included. We absolutely loved the taste testing that is ran just like your wedding would be. It was sooo fun!!

The outdoor ceremony space is perfectly tucked away from the road and it’s absolutely gorgeous.

The bridal suite and man cave were an amazing addition to our wedding. The staff was beyond amazing and never left us with empty plates or coffee! The groomsmen stayed stocked with beer and that was enough to make them happy 😉

Angelique and her staff really put their all into EVERYTHING at this venue. We had around 200 guests and almost everyone said how amazing the food was. Not one single complaint from anyone.

Great place, only if you're spending A LOT of money and having a LARGE reception. If you are having a small reception, you will only be an afterthought. The centerpieces were less than stellar. We could have gotten flowers that looked more real from Dollar Tree. The water vases had NO water beads and the pearls we provided to be added, to appear as if they were floating, were never used, and not returned. The uplighting and curtain lights were never turned on and we had to find the dimmer switch ourselves to provide something of a candlelight atmosphere. Luckily, our DJ had some lighting to help the evening along. There was no utensils to cut the cake and the cake slices looked like they were thrown on the plates. The serving staff was polite but not overly helpful. Not all our guests received untensils to eat with, not enough forks, or knives and no spoons. I do want to thank Jeremy, the bartender, who was great! The rest of the staff made people feel uncomfortable and were "in the way". The food was very good, one of the bright spots. Highly recommend the the pork! The sign for our area was at the back door, and we had to walk all the way around the building, through the area of another reception, rather than letting us know we could park by the side entrance, closer to our room. All our guests had to move their cars after arriving. We only saw the owner once in SIX hours we were there. If you are having an intimate gathering and looking for someplace where you count...go...
