BIRTHDAY PARTY REVIEW ONLY
We decided to hold our kid's birthday there because I attended a birthday party there a few years ago and thought it was amazing - well coordinated, they handled everything, chairs around the room for all the adults, all seemed great.
Needless to say, that was not our experience whatsoever. I would never recommend a party here, and will not repeat it ourselves.
The "rule" of a max of 20 children, and a max of 35 people apparently doesn't apply. We were very careful with our invite list to keep it to that, and were later told they don't keep track of adult numbers at all, and we could have invited more kids.
I asked to add additional pizzas and drinks because we'd planned to feed both the kids and the adults. We got all pepperoni pizzas (we ordered all cheese), and ran out of drinks. I totally thought the place had a kitchen and made their own food. They do not. The pizza is brought in, and I'm assuming the drinks are too. So when the pizza runs late, you also have no drinks for kids who have been running around for an hour and a half.
I was told they'd confirm numbers there and if we needed anything more we could always add it, so I assumed if we needed more drinks they'd just bring more out. Nope. We had 3 2-liters, and the water came in those tiny 16oz bottles... we got 4 of them. No adults got drinks, and we ran out for the kids.
The food also ran late, but we weren't told that until way late, and then when it was finally time to return to the room, we found out the PA system was down, so we had to go find all the kids throughout all the inflatables to get them to come back.
When we got there I requested more chairs, as there were maybe 4 sitting along the wall and I knew we'd probably have 20 adults. We were given 4 additional chairs. And 2 of them went to the table, because we were short for the kids. So adults were EVERYWHERE, with only a few able to sit.
The party attendant was the slowest ever, while also reminding us constantly that they were closing early due to weather. For drinks, she was taking one cup to the counter, filling it, and taking it back to the child. A friend and I ended up taking the 2-liters around the table and pouring for whichever kid requested what we had. She made no attempt to pass pizza to the adults, so we again were passing that out. By that point the adults didn't even want plates, they were just grabbing pizza out of the box and scarring it down.
The presents were equally disorganized, with other parents again jumping in to keep it moving.
The entire night was a complete cluster. I'm only giving 2 stars because I know the kids had fun. But the adults were annoyed beyond belief, I felt stressed and terrible about how awful it was, and I hated that it was nowhere close to what I'd experienced before or what...
Read moreBooked a birthday party for my daughter a month ago for Saturday, October 6th, from 3p-5p. Talked to them on the phone Tuesday, October 2, only to find out that they booked me for the 12:30-2:30 slot, which does not work for my family. The only way this was discovered was the fact that I asked what time we could arrive. After explaining to the girl on the phone that I’d booked the 3p-5p slot, she said she’d note it on my sheet, and we went on. Mind you, I’d probably talked to 2-3 other people about this party before this point, and at no point did anyone ever mention the party time again. About 10 minutes after getting off the phone with the girl, I got a call from Ivan, a manager. Ivan explained that I had been booked for the 12:30-2:30 slot and that the 3p-5p slot was not available. I then explained to Ivan that I’d booked the 3p-5p slot, but that both were available when I booked. Ivan was quite rude, and continuously spoke over me every time I tried to speak, and advised me there was nothing he could do but call his manager. About an hour later I got a call from Jeff (presumably Ivan’s boss) who went onto explain further that there was nothing they could do. I was offered a Sunday morning or a week night, neither of which worked for my family. I continued to ask why I was the one being inconvenienced if it was their mistake, but I was continuously told that there was nothing they could do. Ultimately, I was refunded my deposit, but I had to cancel the party. So, now, here I am 4 days out from the party, and I just had to tell my almost 6 year old that her party had to be cancelled. No one seemed to care that their mistake cost my daughter her party. I’m now at home dealing with a sobbing almost 6 year old, scrambling to find another location to have her a party. Thanks for nothing, Jungle Joes. My family and I will never return to your business, and I will make sure to tell everyone about how poorly we...
Read moreDefinitely a fun place for kids. My son ran around jumping and sliding to his hearts content!
This place gets super busy and crowded that it's tough not bumping into others.
The selection of refreshments on site is somewhat lacking, but that not that big of an issue.
The mini golf looks to be an entertaining course, but I have not personally played it.
As far as cleanliness is concerned, the place is fairly clean... especially considering it is filled with children day in and day out.
As for adults participating in bouncing, it is not that great. The bounce houses/slides are not really designed for a 6' tall adult. It's a tight squeeze getting into some of them. If you have a few extra pounds, that gets even more difficult. Quite obviously this is not an issue with the business, bit rather the equipment is designed for kids.
Edit:
We recently held our sons 9th birthday party here, and it was definitely worthwhile! You schedule the date and time, choose what will be served, and they handle everything! It made celebrating...
