Read moreRegardless of the time of year it is a beautiful place to go and walk or just listen to the water along the lakefrontIf you go in during the day when the pavilion is usually open you can actually see the history of the area and how the area was reclaimed and returned to its natural state from what it used to be. The lakefront beach area is not what it used to be which is unfortunate that is due to several bad winter storms , severe erosion of the beachfront and the slight increase in the water level of lake Michigan regardless of that it is still a beautiful place with several long walking trails throughout the reclaimed spaces. Read moreOne of the tourist spots in Indian dunes national park ! Not a bad place to stop by !
Did not live up to my expectations especially after I visit the Indian dune national park and west beach !
Personally the beach here is not as clean as the other beaches I visited ! There are all kinds of trashes here ( glasses , broke. Toilet and even drug addicts vapers )! It will be awesome if the park can find some volunteers to clear up the beach! There are some suspicious activities around the beach here too , such as homeless people doing illegal camping here and doing suspicious stuffs! You need to be careful here if you have a little one with you ! And never come here alone with no one around you and in late night ! Definitely not a safest place !
Other than the above claim, the factories nearby are a bummer to the...
