Great Park! It has many different parking areas all down the entrance road. once you get 1/2 way down the road you can see the tennis court, the football area, and many more areas with different sports taking place. Then you go further and see the kids area where there are 2 play places and swings, along with bug carts they can go back and forth in, and what makes it so great is that the entire ground around the kids area is covered with a very soft flexible covering. Making any falls for little ones very safe. No skinned knees ;) to the left of the park there is a full bathroom and sitting area and a volleyball net. You can swim in the lake, go out on the dock, or even walk down a trail. Also covered areas to sit and benches along with picnic tables and benches placed throughout the park. Definalty a good park with many options for get togethers. I do believe there is parking fee to get into the beach area but only during certain times so I would double check that before going or be prepared to pay for parking just in case....

The beach is clean and the park itself was really nice, but the rules seem a bit much. I understand that in order to keep things organized they have to be strict, but it was a real bummer that the swimming area isn't even deep enough for me to not be able to touch (I'm only 5'2"). My husband used to swim for state, he wanted to stretch his arms and truly swim but they rope off a very small little area to swim in and it was really overcrowded. I know it's for safety reasons but it would have been nice to have a larger swimming area that is actually somewhat deep as we are not allowed to swim beyond the rope. Also, they don't allow flotation devices :( But the fishing area was very pleasant and they do keep the bathroom areas nice and clean. We also wanted to kayak as they have a tandem kayak for $12 but they were at capacity so they had to shut down the entire concession stand and boat rentals to lifeguard. It was...

We went on the 4th of July and the bathrooms smelled really bad. The staff made frequent loud announcements over intercoms about no floaties of any kind, no food on the beach area, no rough housing, no splashing, no being on the handicap ramp, no smoking, no beer, "ZERO tolerance for weed". Etc etc. All these rules yet my daughter got a 4 inch long cut on the bottom of her foot just walking in the water. A large group of kids tweens/teens came up to the area my husband's family had their cook out at and asked for some of the stuff they had, they let them have some candy and the water they had left but then they came back with other kids so they could have candy etc too. Im sticking with going to Eagle Lake near...

Beautiful park on the lake. Nice playground and pavilion area. The annual Monster Mash is held here and there were numerous vendors handing out Halloween candy and coupons. Great atmosphere that was clean and safe. The park also held the monthly Friday at the Flats festival for the month following the May 2024 tornado where there was live music, food trucks, and a small flea market with vendors selling goods which included art, apparel, food, etc.
