Winery at Porter Central — Attraction in Porter Township

We have visited two different times now. We love this place. Craig and Gail are the owners and they love what they do. The property is beautiful and offers quite a view. The wine is really good. I like dry wines so this is perfect for me. The ciders are really good also. Craig continues to experiment with different flavors. He just shared with us he is coming up with ciders for this fall. The tasting room is a 100+ year old barn. There is plenty of seating inside and outside. They even have a green house with seating. My wife and I stopped by to hear Columbus music Legend Happy Chichester perform at the Winery. This property is absolutely beautiful and the summer evening was perfect to listen to music and have a nice glass of wine and Italian soda. The property owners are extremely friendly and knowledgeable and welcoming. The decor and ambiance of the property is undeniable pretty and unique. The grounds have lots of sheep as they produce an array of wool products that are for sale as well as chickens and a very friendly dog. My husband and I decided to check out this spot after shopping at the tanger outlet mall and were very pleased with how our impromptu visit turned out. The owners were exceptionally welcoming and even took the time to get to know us and show us around. The drinks and snacks were delectable and the live music, atmosphere and overall feel of the winery was entirely worth our while.
