Read moreWe happened to drive out to Powell Butte Park when we had some free time before our flight, and it was a good choice! Mt. Hood is in the distance, and finally we got to see it in clear conditions. We had no idea that Mt. Saint Helens was also viewable from there! We ended up parking down the street across the main intersection and hauling our picnic supplies up the hill...On our last visit the bathrooms were closed due to vandalism.
