A spectacular forest in southern Ohio known by the locals as the 'little smokies' with the rolling hills and unbroken forests, it is a botanical treasure. This state forest has a nice lodge and while is quiet in the forest, is close to Portsmouth OH with good places to eat and historic sites to visit.
