Very hot, burned my dogs paws, heat stroke, $5000 in Vet bills, 3 weeks of healing, rocky, trail has much more elevation than expected. Took 2 hours to hike 3 miles. My fault for being out of shape and not managing expectations, needed way more water than we brought for 4 people. Thought this would be a pleasant lunch stroll… sorely mistaken. Lake view was nice for 20 minutes, then pretty much just low trails looking in the backside of the damn, hot, boring, slippery rocks, only a couple benches in the sun on the trail. Lucky we wore hiking boots. Miserable for our family. Not...
