CCC Scenic Overlook — Attraction in Prairie Grove

this is a beautiful little Scenic Overlook spot. A great place to take pictures and just relax for a few minutes. We got caught in here during the rain so it's nice to sit there in the cool air in the rain and just watch the nature from the high Viewpoint. We could see the bridge from the road and all the fog. It was pretty secluded and we didn't have anybody bother us while we were there either. It was nice to be alone for a few minutes on the trip. I was in absolute awe! I ended up in this area by accident and I felt so blessed by this "accident"! I was traveling home from Texas and was sick of the rush and decided to take an exit with scenic route signs which added a day to my travels but it was well worth it! Glorious and peaceful! *The wilted flowers in the picture were there and I noticed them as I was leaving. There are signs not to pick or remove anything from the park. A little underwhelming. Was not impressed at all for my first visit here and only used it as a place to have a small break from the Yellowrock hike.
