A GORGEOUS waterfall area!!!! 😮💦💦💦👍👍 Beautiful, natural area in the middle of the woods. You park your car next to the road and walk not far at all. An easy hike. There are shallow areas you can wade in both above and below the falls. There are deeper areas that you can swim in below the falls too. WARNING!!! I saw two young guys jumping in, and so I spoke to them about where to specifically jump at and how deep they thought it was. I jumped in with my niece. Once I hit the water, i put my hand down and my feet eventually did touch bottom and I could feel the rocky bottom with my hand. I was literally inches away from nailing my tailbone on the rock bottom! So, just BE CAREFUL when jumping if you choose to jump in the water from up top. It’s not crazy bad, 20-25 feet high I guessing? Beautiful spot at the falls for a fun family picnic and summer swimming time! We had a BLAST!!! As nice or nicer than Hanging Rock’s Lower Cascade area, another great waterfall summer swimming...
Read moreI've been coming to this place since I was a kid either to do a little fishing or to cool off on a hot summer day. Back then if you were driving around on the old gravel road you'd probably pay the wide spot in the road little attention and keep on traveling because the actual falls is located several hundred yards downstream along an old logging road. But over the years the falls have become a tourist attraction of sorts and there seems to always be someone there, which to me is an unfortunate occurrence because forever the falls were a local thing where we could go hang out on the weekends when we were in highschool. So if you've never been there and you plan on checking it out for yourself someday please don't leave anything you bring with you behind like drink cans and such.... and keep a close eye on your children because there are some pretty steep drop-offs near the waterfall along the trail. Thanks for reading and maybe I'll run into you someday...

My wife and I are not by any means the best physical specimens but we were able to make the hike to this falls and beyond to obtain some nice photos of the falls and surrounding area.
According to the signage at the beginning of the trail, it is 1/4 mile to Brush Creek Falls but we found it to be a little further than that by our phones GPS, maybe 3/8-1/2 mile.
The trail is somewhat rocky and uphill/downhill at the beginning but soon smooths out to be fairly level and smooth. We experienced a good bit of wet ground due to the recent rains!
