June 2021 Review: The last time I was here was 30 years ago. Appears this park has changed a lot since I've been there last and want to stop by soon to check it out. Not sure how much of the river they have changed but I highly recommend you take caution when swimming in any river. Out behind the rocks back in the day we had a dangerous moment where 3 inexperience young swimmers got sucked in currents and 2 experience swimmers rescued them. I was one of the experienced swimmers who had to push one off of me so I could breath then stand against the sand and pull the other one up. Never felt the current or potholes. Heavy life saving...

It does have an early checkout time that you'll want to be aware of and the checkout and check in times are different. There was no sewer hook-up and I don't believe they even had a dump station if I am correct, which you will need to factor in for your RV stay. However they have very nice and accessible bathroom/showers right by the campsites so it's not an issue to simply use them instead of using...
