Neighbors On The Rum — Restaurant in Princeton

Some of my friends and I were here a few weekends ago. Whatever you do, DON'T start a tab! The "new" bartender allowed others to put drinks on my tab. The DJ REFUSED to play any music that we wanted to dance too without a tip. My bestie and I went in to figure out the mistake on the tab and to discuss the RUDE DJ with the owner. She was very nice and apologetic. She even thanked us for not blasting them on social media. We were promised that her husband would look into it and give us both a call. Well, he only called my bestie (tab was in my name and on my card, but we spilt the tab at the end of the night (2.5 hours later) and decided to figure it out the next day due to them being busy). I had to call 3 times to reach him and he was horrible to deal with. He tried to explain to me how most people on average drink more drinks then we did an hour. He was told more than once that we do not drink often or that much ever. He kept implying to myself and my bestie that maybe we had more fun then we thought. He proceeded to tell me that he was too busy as it was their lunch hour, he was not going to argue about a few drinks (I wasn't arguing one bit, in fact I was very nice the whole time) and stated that he would put a gift card in the mail that day as it was easier than providing a refund FOR HIM. I agreed, now here we are over a week later and nothing. The bar and my home are in the same small town about a half mile apart. Needless to say this owner will never get any of my business, my friends business or our families business again. Lastly, pat yourself on the back Mr. because you MORE than earned this...

Bad experience. Went and had 1 beer with a close friend and the bill was 8 dollars gave a 20 was given 12 back and left a 2 dollar tip. Sat there for just over an hr and left was starting by our vehicles and had a very drunk woman approach us saying we walked out on a bar tab when told she was talking to the wrong people and we had already paid our bill she continued to say it was us and she wasn't wrong. When we asked to talk to a manager I was told there one. When in to speak with the bartender that was working and told her what was going on she confirmed that we paid our bill but I asked if the woman that confronted us was working there we were told that it didn't after and it did matter because she was very drunk and was told we needed to just drop the entire situation and move on. Not professional at all and I will never step foot back there and will make sure to tell everyone I know not...

Went here a couple times and thought the food was decent. I've had way better bar food, but still went back. Well, the last time I came here the owner was the bar tender and waiter. I had brought in a water bottle, thought it would be no big deal. Well the owner demanded it needs to go in our vehicle or we need to leave. Mind you this is in the middle of the winter, freezing cold. My boyfriend asked why and owner got even more angry. Eventually it was brought back in our vehicle. For the rest of our dinner he did not say ONE word to us. He threw our food down on the table!!! Worst service I've had in my entire life, and I've been to tons of places. Total disrespect. Other local bars will win over our business. Hopefully this guy gets shut down and this place gets a new owner since it is conveniently...
