Things to know before you go: 📍Beginning of Perotti Park 37 America’s Cup Ave, Newport, RI 🅿️ There’s plenty of parking at 23 America’s Cup Ave, Newport ($40 for the day, although is was still free this past weekend, I’m not sure when they start charging for the season). It’s a very central, so you can leave your car there and go explore Brick Market Place and Bowen’s Wharf afterwards for food and ice cream! 🚻 there are restrooms in Perotti Park, so get there 15 minutes early to use them before setting sail 🍦 and of course we went to get ice cream and cupcakes at Cupcake Charlie’s on Thames Street/Brick Market Place afterwards. 💻 savebay.org 🦭 Save the Bay is a 100% member-supported nonprofit organization, with a mission to protect and improve Narragansett Bay and a vision of a Bay that is fully fishable, swimmable and accessible to all. 🐠 Save the Bay has also just opened their Hamilton Family Aquarium at 23 America’s Cup Ave, Newport, RI This one-of-a-kind destination allows guests to come face-to-face with the local creatures and species that live in the Bay, helping to build awareness and understanding of the issues that challenge the health of the local waters and habitats. #ashwithabayri #sealtours #newportri #discovernewport

Easy access to Narragansett Bay, kayak launch, fishing, parking, walking trails, dog friendly (on leash), great birdwatching! Managed by nonprofit so when you visit give Save The Bay some love.

The most beautiful walking path along the water. There’s a little dock you can take pictures from or this little secluded beach area. Most important thing? There’s free parking!

We haven't done the light house tour yet, we are still waiting, but we were not told what time to arrive so we got here 45 minutes early. They were spraying for mosquitoes while we were all stuck outside with the doors locked. The guys spraying, were wearing respirator masks so obviously it's not healthy to breath in. We went the back of the building to get away from it, they started spraying back there, then we went to the front and they were spraying there as well. They told us they would open the doors at 8:30, we weren't let in until 8:45. The narrator for the boat is very sweet. Already very informative. We are all very upset though that they were spraying and we had to...

Everyone here was so polite! I went on the light house tour which was very fun. I learned a lot and the crew on the boat were so nice! They offered us sodas and water and binoculars multiple times so we wouldn't have to feel uncomfortable just grabbing them. The boat ride was awesome the captain drove like a champ. The boat was very clean and we got great views of all the light houses. Also the bathroom at their building was really clean which is something I always notice. I also purchase a cap from here which was inexpensive! Not sure what other things they run throughout this place, but if you're considering anything here you're...

My daughter really enjoyed the summer camp programs. We were fortunate enough to have received a small discount which made the week long camp affordable. This year however, Save the Bay camp told us they had zero funding to help anyone with cost of camp. So sad! The staff is friendly, the building is new and beautiful and in a peaceful setting. E-mail responses are a little slow. Plenty of parking. The kids all seem to really enjoy the time there & activities offered, especially the boat. I just wish it was...
