Von Baer Park is a really fun disc golf course. It's very technical with lots of trees and elevation changes. There are nice tee pads and signs and two tee pads and baskets on every hole. The yellow baskets were the original course and the green were later donated by Infinite Discs to give more variety for the adventurous player.
However, the consequences of bad throws are extreme. Release early or late and you might be hiking or spending thirty minutes looking for your disc.
I don't recommend this course for beginners or those not in good physical shape, even though it's the course I learned to play disc golf at. The Von Baer Park disc golf course is the reason there is an Infinite Discs today, so it will always have a special place...
Read morePlayed the DG course here for the first time this weekend, fun shorter course with fairly good signage to guide you. If you are not familiar with the layout definitely use Udisc to navigate your way around. Lots of elevation changes and some rocky scrambles, definitely not beginner / cart friendly plan on carrying your bag here. There are A and B tees for every hole which adds some variety, there are some water crossings to contend with (although for my round there was no water running through any of them).
