Brezina Woods — Attraction in Proviso Township

This forest preserve is just minutes away from Brookfield zoo. In the summer this is a great place for a bbq with friends and family. There's great paths for u to walk, jog or run. U most likely will see some wild life. Even in the winter this place is beautiful. There's plenty of space so u won't be cramped in next to other people if your having a bbq or reunion of some type. My friends and family are always having bbqs here and bringing the kids. The kids have a lot of fun here bc they have all the room they need to play around and the smaller children get so excited when they see the deers and sometimes the coyotes. This is a great place, but most visitors that started coming around do not respect the rules of cleaning up their own garbage. They don't respect the laws of fishing with a license. Great trail for running/biking. 8.1, 8.2 miles round-trip to the West all the way till 294 and back. Few road crossings at LaGrange road, 31st Street and Wolf road. All nicely shaded until Wolf Road going west. 5.3 miles round-trip to the East till Brookfield Woods and back
