I've had this trail as a five-star for years but now that I have seen what they've done to it I am changing my review. It is so sad that they've completely tore apart the trail on the west side of the trailhead. They've added two bridges so that more cars and traffic can go through. They have extended the trail but they tore down a bunch of trees in doing so. It's a lot more exposed. The trail is not nearly as beautiful and peaceful and serene as it once was. It is really unfortunate that they've done this. However there still is a beautiful trail with lots of trees and the nice water. There's a bathroom at the trailhead. It's definitely getting more and more crowded.

If you treat this as a trailhead instead of as a "park", you'll be very impressed. Small parking lot, very clean restrooms, bike repair station, and plenty of shade. It's quiet here, and all you can hear is the river and the birds. The trail currently only runs east of this park, towards the mountains, because they are doing construction on the part that goes towards the lake. That should be done by 2025, and will make this trailhead a great stop on the way to Utah Lake.

One of the most beautiful areas in Provo. Such a fun running trail or taking pictures with the family. Usually very secluded, quiet, and beautiful. Trailhead has parking, small park and bathrooms. Little pockets of homemade swings and fun along the trail.

This is a very peaceful place to enjoy nature, and any skill level can participate. It's flat and you can go as far as you want and then turn around and walk back to your car. The sound of the water is so refreshing! The trees are older than anyone I know. There are little picnic spots along the way with swings fastened to the trees which makes it perfect for families as long as there is parental supervision near the water. And the ducks come and greet you in some spots, hoping for food. Please don't give them bread, though! It's bad for them. I think seeds would be much more appropriate. And I did not give this trail 5 stars because there is a barricade at the far west side where the trail used to go further, and there is construction going on at the moment. I don't know if the city is planning on restoring the former trail or stopping it there, but it would have been nice to take the trail all the way to Utah Lake as it was...

This is a great trail head. 11 parking spots (including one handicap spot) bathrooms open 24/7. Well lit all night long. Full service bike self service station with all the equipment you need to repair or improve your bike. Two picnic tables and one park bench all next to the Provo River. Clear access to the river at the trailhead. Nicely decorated tunnel under the bridge. Nicely paved trail right along the river but safe for kiddos to run, play, and throw rocks into river. Plenty of ducks, birds, and other wildlife. Clean and...
