We love walking over here, there is usually no one. The trais are nice but the trees and bushes need to be trimmed in some spots, we almost had a 9' dead tree branch fall on us a few weeks ago it fell about 10-15 feet behind us where we had just walked from. Other areas the bushes and reeds from the river are overtaking the train and need to be cut back.

This is a great little spot. I love coming here and just sitting to enjoy nature. The river is very slow moving and peaceful. I especially love it in the fall. This park is alongside the Provo river trail and is one of the closest parks to Utah lake. As a filmmaker, this location has some fun places for a variety of video shoots.

Its a nice walk. Dueing fall the colors on the trees are beautiful, in summer the shade of the big trees has it feeling much cooler temp. Just dont look at the water! Since they cut it off from the flow of the actual river to build the highway it is stagnent so has build a lot of algea and is murky amd dirty in some parts. They did try to make a flow by adding air pumps in the water, but it doesnt do too much. . Not upkept as it should. There is an awesome farm on the trail that has highland cows...

This "Park" is definitely just a parking lot on the Provo River Trail. It is a good location where the river is slow and deep. Lots of people fishing or launching kayaks/canoes/SUPs here. It felt like winter today with the ground covered in cotton from the trees. I do enjoy starting off whatever adventure we are having from...
