Ist of all, I can vouch for this place. Its a total nature experience & it's got esto y aquello: scenic, lush greens that appear untouched. Wildlife. Can be brutally muddy. As lots have mentioned...can be a nightmare to bottom of small vehicles/tires. We owned a Jeep last adventure. Now, we wished we STILL owned that Jeep. I love walking, but I wasn't in the mood. Didn't stay. However, I did get out to pick up some trash. NOT COOL! And, I took pics of entrance. Next time we'll be prepared. You can park in entrance lot and hike. Or drive carefully. Beautiful, quiet beach is the reward. Cool off. If you're into the whole nature package, this is a sweet choice. Some effort involved, yet rewarding!

It is nice to see there are still places like this in Puerto Rico where you can come and enjoy nature as it is. There were lots of birds singing, we also saw some wild horses and lots of iguanas. By the beach we saw a protected turtle nest and even though we did not see the turtle we saw the tracks going all the way back to the sea. It was a great experience. The walk to the beach “La Selva” is approximately 20-25 mins from the parking lot. We saw some cars inside the trail but we wanted to explore it by walking.

4x4 type of traction need it for this adventurous trail. It has a couple of pod holes that gets fill out with water after the rain , that will make the trail more adventurous. At the end of the trail you'll reach a beach access , totally a dream paradise !!! Recommended 100% . Bring your food , water or beverage. There's nothing but nature for miles around!
