Every so often life gives you a bonus and that's just what we experienced when we randomly dropped in on this out-of-the-way, unassuming winery. During a stretch of our recent RV trip we searched for a few local wineries and were drawn to this curiously-named little gem. Owners Jennifer and Curtis were on-hand to walk us through both their wines and their journey in creating them. Their no-nonsense approach resulted in a large number of varieties for such a young winery, including several welcome surprises. Smooth oaked reds are complimented by several novel semi-sweet and sweet whites. There's even a carefully-crafted port on hand. Shortly after being there one of the owners was very rude about a piece of paper the young man had told me to take, he snatched it out of my hand and rudely handed me another paper walking away without speaking any more to me. Needless to say I left and won’t be back and encourage you to leave this off your list of wineries. There are too many amazing wineries in the area to...
