This would be an AWESOME place to get married. It’s beautiful up top with a bar and live music (certain days). Guests could stay on the island which is fun as well with late night bar hours around. I wish I would’ve knew about this hidden treasure before now. Decent prices- A beer & top shelf bourbon was $13 before tip, I guess I figured it would be more. Cute place with much history. Take the ferry across to put in bay or stay on middle bass to enjoy the other few bars up the way.

The Speakeasy has expanded to an outdoor bar at the Lonz Winery facade. It is named George's bar after George Lonz, the original owner. Fast, efficient service with big umbrellas for shade. Food can be ordered from the Speakeady menu.

Not a lot to see but has been cleaned up nicely. New coffee shop music on the patio sometimes Nice park.nothing like the Olds days of the 70's & 80's

The grounds of the former Lonz Winery are well maintained. This is a nice place for a family picnic. The views of South Bass Island are terrific from here. Jane's Island Grind is a great place to stop for coffee, breakfast sandwiches, or a relaxing libation while visiting the former winery. Be sure to check out the glacial...
