This park has plenty of parking. Just know it can get busy on weekends with sports games going on and since the soccer field is right by the main front lot, that lot can get packed and very full... Know you can park further down. It looks like they also sell concessions by the soccer field when the games happen which is nice. Next to the soccer field, you have the main playground- shaded but no frills and just busy! Then, if you walk a bit further, you have the basketball court which is a bit too close to the street. Beyond that, you have the softball field which is by reservation only. After that, you keep walking a bit-- there's a trail on the left that you can take and I think it keeps going on into the residential neighborhood ... and you'll see restrooms on the left- which yay for the park having them. Next to the restrooms are the volleyball court which for the most part is nice minus the wooden slats surrounding the sand. There's also the second section of play area there with two ho-hum rock statues. I feel this park is intended more for the sports lovers but I'm not a fan. Not much nature, just a bunch of sports fields and...
Read moreLOVE THIS PLACE! I play pokémon here. There's 3 pokémon gyms and 4 pokéstops. I see organized sports happening here and families here all the time. Its a clean park! The landscaping is pretty. For as popular this park can be the grass is always green and never patchy. There's basketball courts, jungle gyms, soccer/football fields, baseball fields, sand volleyball courts, many many ramadas. Its apart of the Queen Creek Wash, a nice trail here in QC. There are 2 neighbourhoods that have access at the rear of the park. I see people riding horses here! Also, this park is kind enough to provide Dog Waste bags for your pups! The Park Rangers are on top of closing the gates when 10pm comes. They do a sweep so if you're here at night you'll know when...
Read moreThis park is infrequently crowded. It has swings, and lots of tables available, and a park for every aged child. It has a horse corral, and a large soccer/football/field. There used to be a nice botanical garden here which has been left to its own devices. I played volleyball here frequently when I was single. There are also baseball fields. The big kid park makes me nervous with a 3 year old, but there is a little kid park right next to it. My family comes here when we have a big group, and want to spend time getting to know each other better without being too nervous about the kids being out of sight. We had a wonderful night...
