Loved seeing the Birds and the view from the Observation tower. Great place for bird watcher enthusiasts or people that want just a small walking trail with beautiful scenery and wildlife. An awesome place to visit which is unknown to most people. The natural area has very thick growth which is basically unpassable. The sign warning about poisonous snakes should be enough to keep you on the short trail. Great place if you are interested in nature,native plants and the many birds there. Great info on the migratory patterns of the birds there, fascinating how far many of them fly. Lots of professional bird watchers and photographers at the sanctuary. Saw more Monarch Butterflies than I have seen since a child. One word of caution, there are snakes in the sanctuary and I almost stepped on one coiled up on one of the pathways. ...
