Louisiana's Cajun Bayou Visitor Center — Attraction in Raceland

I stopped to stand on the pier and enjoy the water! Extremely beautiful real nice taste of Louisiana lifestyle my only complaint is it's too close to the highway. It's just way too many cars going by some are loud some are not and made my little kids nervous if there's another spot down the road I would suggest going to that instead of this one however if your kids ain't so jumpy. Our High School uses this location to host several fundraisers yearly. It is well shaded, easily accessible. Great place for a Family picnic. It also Hosts every Saturday a Farmers Market for local Farmers to sell fresh produce. The Lockport Fair is located there yearly offering great rides, Food, and fun for the Family. It's going to be a really cook place if they ever get this building done and do something about the flooding every time it rains a little bit. The carnival suffers every time they come out and the coordinators don't do anything to help. They let them get flooded out, and it ruins the event, and less people end up showing up. Which means the coordinators don't make as much and the carnival doesn't make as much. Eventually, it won't be worth it for them to even come out and put...
