The monument was quite beautiful and along the walls the famous and inspiring words of MLK were carved into stone. Reading them really gave me a sense of who he was. The location and the actual monument itself are quite pretty. The statue is quite impressive too.

This park is small, but nice! I was definitely expecting more lol. It was an overall nice establishment. This park is a place to come and eat lunch, enjoy the beautiful scenery, and take pics at the Statue.

It's awesome to have such a nice park dedicated to Dr. King. He is a very prominent and determining factor in where America is today. He is sorely missed but will never be forgotten.

This is a great attempt at honoring Dr. King however it's very simplistic. The fountain is a great part of the display however it's so far away from the actual statue. There just could have been more. The facilities next to it I guess you can say is clean has bathroom a place to cover yourself from the rain or snow.

Not sure if it's for the purposes of protecting the monument but there was a park police officer there on site on each occasion that I've visited twice in one week.

Overall the fact that there is anything there at all is a reason to...

Standing as though in thoughtful pause during a sermon, the humble dignity of the man is still alive in this wonderful statue, decades after his assassination. Just as Simon of Cyrene carried Jesus' wooden cross, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr carried the moral cross of preaching civil rights and equality. How fitting it is to linger in the midst of these beautiful surroundings with their exquisite memorial features and reflect on his contribution in changing the course of...

Hurts me to give a place like this 4 stars, but im knocking off 1 star for the location.

Its on the corner of a suburban street. Theres a barber shop on other side of one of the gardens. It feels so out of place to have a memorial like this just shoved into a random location like this. Wth was the city thinking????

Also, sketchy dude was hangin around the picnic area. I would advise you keep some sort of self...
