Elmcrest Park — Attraction in Ramsey

This was a beautiful venue for our wedding celebration. We comfortably had about 100 guests and rented the entire pavilion, concession area, and meeting room. It was clean, roomy, easy for guests to find, and the fireplace was a beautiful focal point. The only thing that wasn't as accommodating, was parking for that many guests was getting a bit full. Mary Jo at the the City of Ramsey was great to work with and communicated everything we needed to know thoroughly. Our guests were quite impressed with this venue and many hadn't even known it existed before. Kudos to The City Of Ramsey - our outdoor wedding was one week following blizzard and they did a great job removing the thick ice on the sidewalk from the melting snow so our guests were safe. My family has spent 2 summers up here at this park now for our sons' soccer games. The park stays clean and is very nice to spend your whole day at with the kids. The many Staff Members and Volunteers make the place welcoming an comfortable during long days of back to back games. The facilities are nice and clean and is really designed for soccer play specifically. So the playground is not the largest and there are limited things for kids to do other than run on the field and play. The parking is good but could be expended as for the last two years parking can be very difficult during big soccer events. Over the last 2 years I've had to park in a field and walk a fair distance to my kids field. Lesson learned get there really early parking spots...

Beautiful park! I was impressed when I drove up with the water filling station (Such a rare find these days!) and with how modern the building, bathrooms, and playground equipment is. I wish I would've had more time to practice my Frisbee golf in the fields or Rollerblade on the perfectly smooth paved trails.
