I have to say I'm very VERY impressed with the Rangers who work this beat. They are amazing. Just about a week ago I was there for my usual daily walk. I happened to use the restroom as i stopped at the trash can I noticed a sharps container attached to the port potty. It was old and the lid had broken and had fallen in on itself exposing a bunch of hypodermic needles. I immediately phoned the owners of the potty it was attached to. They informed me it was not their responsibility it was the parks and he couldn't give me their phone number I had to find it myself. " Against their rules. I guess🙄" so I dialed 311. That was uncommon. So I put my dog back on the leash. When it was joined by another coyote and they both sat and stared at us, I was afraid for the life of my little dog even if it was on the leash. So I picked up a large stick for defense, and we left the area. So if you have a little bite-sized dog, be careful walking it off the leash in...
