Great ocean views with amazing wildflowers in the Spring. Easy free parking on Twin Harbors View Drive. Go down the cement steps to enter this beautiful, dog friendly, Open Space and enjoy the awesome views from the Portal Trail and Gnatcatcher Trail. You can also follow the trails all the way down to the ocean. There are no restrooms here, but you can drive to the bottom of La Rotonda drive and use the nice restrooms at the park there.

Great hike, though if walking down to near water suggest wearing shoes (I didn't trust my flip flops to maintain good traction on the slopes).

This is a nice trailhead and the trail had some tide pools once you reached the bottom. An easy trail with many nice views.

Nice little trail that begins from a neighborhood and connects to a beautiful scenic overlook with amazing sunset views.

Plenty of parking near the beginning of the trail.

However, the multimillion dollar homes nearby apparently hired an overzealous security guard. After our hike, he drove his car and followed us around the neighborhood until we left. Ridiculous. It was me, my wife, and two little kids - did he think we were robbers or something? Last I checked, the streets are still public. We tried to catch the sunset off a street nearby but he parked 20 feet away with his headlights in our face just waiting for...
