This park has one of the most beautiful views you could ask for. The children's playground has a variety of equipment for kids of all ages, and the swings are placed perfectly so you can look at the ocean while pushing your child.
There is a paved walking path around the baseball field,benches sporadically spread out around the path, and a couple of staircases leading down to the playground.
Parking is free and plentiful. Be mindful that some spaces are a little tight and may be hard to get into based on your vehicle.
There are bathrooms and even a small box to take a book/leave a book. There only drawback is there are snakes, but I haven't seen one.

And they are a good distance from each other at separate levels, in case you don't want the bigger kids trampling the little ones! Below the playgrounds there is a nature walk that leads all the way to the bottom. Through the park there are benches and tables, even down at the "nature" side of the park! Read moreI like this park. It is built into a hillside in Palos Verdes, and it is very nicely maintained. There are a couple of playgrounds here, but I think the big attraction is the community center. They host a lot of events here, including community meetings, nature hikes and lectures, and various classes. The views from the main building are amazing, as you'd expect in PV. The staff are friendly and helpful as well. They also offer free WiFi. If you have an event coming up, I recommend giving this place some thought...
