If you're actually going to taking on the harding truck trail and not just the tucker sanctuary 15min mini hike, please be prepared. It gets warm in the sunlight. Bring water. I see lots of people biking this trail as it goes very far (i think the sign said 15+miles??) Needless to say my roomates and I only hiked a few miles and came back down. Its a great place to get fresh air and its got fantastic views! Theres a smaller side path that breaks off and leads to the old river bed, and you can try your hand at stacking rocks. If you choose to continue on the main path, enjoy the view! As someone fairly out of shape i would say its a tougher hike, i wouldn't bring kids past the tucker mini hike. I've also seen coyotes here, so be aware. Do not hike alone.

*because of covid the restrooms located at the trailhead are currently closed. So make sure you take care of your needs before you hike :)

I'll add more pictures if i remmeber to take some the next time I go... don't expect to get 5G while out...

Solid hike up to the intersection of N. Main Divide & Maple Springs. You'll get 9 miles & some great views along the way to the top. Some shaded areas but otherwise exposed. Make sure you have plenty of water/electrolytes, calories & are in good condition for the trek. The great thing about this trail (and most, if not all of our local Santa Ana Mtn. trails) is that you can turn around & head back at any time. Get some extra miles and bag the Modjeska/Santiago peaks.

Trail runners local to the area use this for race training. A perfect area to get much-needed vert & downhill work for races with a lot of...

Amazing trail with wonderful views! A lot of rear birds leave in that area (small and big). I met 9 eagles. There are a lot of places for picnics. It is designed to fit both for hikers and bikers/bicyclers . I found several gorgeous places for meditation. You must visit that place guys. There are 3 options (5 miles, 7 miles and 9 miles trails). The shortest is 5.5 hours long and the longest is 12.5 hours long. I took the...
