My wife and I have visited, and belonged to many wineries over the years. Yesterday was our first trip to TOLOSA, and it was not only an awesome start to our family vacation, but truly an experience to remember.

Having visited Alpha Omega previously, we expected an amazing tasting experience, but it was the service that blew us away. We were anxious about stopping in with our 3 kids (all under 7) but we were warmly greeted, and immediately seated outside.

Karl Jepsen was our host, and from the start he was AMAZING, not only for the service he provided, and his knowledge of the wine that was on the tasting menu, but more so for how he treated our children. He went out of his way to entertain and interact with them, showed them cool parts of property (dragon blood on the the barrel tasting room 🙂). There wasn’t any part of the overall experience we were excluded from because we were there with our kids. I’ve been to other high end wineries before, and while the wine was good, the overall experience wasn’t nearly as inviting and inclusive as what Karl provided us at TOLOSA yesterday.

Suffice it to say, Karl made joining the club, and buying some wine a no brainer! Not only will we be back, but I’ll be recommending this place to anyone I...

This was the first winery and wine tasting event we went to in this area and we were not disappointed. Because of the unusually hot weather, they were harvesting early to save the grapes that were ready. We got to watch the production through big glass windows and we could also go outside and watch from there, but it was too hot that day to sit outside, 112 degrees. The lady who was pouring our samples had so much knowledge of everything you would ever want to know about that vineyard, but also about winemaking and grape growing. She was amazing, and after we toured several other tasting events, we realized she was exceptional. Not only was she incredibly knowledgeable, but their wine was superb. I ended up buying 4 bottles of their wine, the Tolosa 1772 Sauvignon Blanc 2016, more than any other vineyard we visited. Our server let us know that the wines in their tasting flight are the cream of the crop, hand picked and single grape wines. She did say that this winery also does bigger mass productions of wine as well. She explained the history behind the 1772, which I have forgotten. Too much wine tasting. This winery has ample parking and is easily accessible. If you are looking for good wine and a good tasting...

A Spectacular Experience at Tolosa Winery!

Our visit to Tolosa Winery was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and hospitality, setting the stage for an unforgettable experience.

A special shoutout to Ivy, who was an absolute delight! She guided us through the Signature Flight with such knowledge and passion, providing detailed descriptions of each wine that deepened our appreciation for Tolosa’s craftsmanship. Her enthusiasm, engaging personality, and genuine love for what she does made our tasting truly exceptional. Beyond her expertise, she was simply wonderful to talk to, making us feel like we were sharing a special moment with a friend.

The wines themselves were outstanding—elegant, balanced, and full of character. Each sip showcased the meticulous attention to detail that goes into every bottle. We paired our flight with the cheese and charcuterie.

We are absolutely raving about our time at Tolosa. If you’re looking for a winery that offers world-class wines, stunning surroundings, and top-notch hospitality, Tolosa is the place to be! Thank you, Ivy, for making our visit...

Very disappointed with this wine tasting experience. We showed up at 5 pm the greeter seemed like he did not have the energy or time for us. Our pourer was dry and rude and did not even tell us much about the winery or each wine. We tasted two Chardonnays and 3 reds don’t even remember they all tasted bad plus we had barely enough taste to wet my plate. Tasting cost $45 each and to wavy that cost you had buy two bottles cost was (45 -75 a bottle). They need to rethink the way they want to portray the brand of Tolosa. Very disappointed with this tasting will not be recommending this place to anyone and would have given it 0 stars if I could.

Hands down one of the best wineries, especially if you're a Pinot Noir fan. Elegant tasting room, and plenty of outdoor seating. You can even buy a bottle per couple if you want to chill out and bring a picnic. Right off 227, easy to find, in the Edna Valley. My pictures are from October, so dry late autumn, but this is a gorgeous place and my family has a membership for good reason. I biked here on the trail, but there are many ways to get there.

2nd visit and still like their wine. Good wine, viognier was perfect. We discovered this vineyard just driving by. Our wine hostess was knowledgeable and friendly, and we actually joined the wine club! A great experience. Oh, and the view from the club members room is to die for! Become a member, then you get the real nice treatment.
