I've stopped here twice for a picnic lunch. I went through the museum the first time. It is kind of neat. There is some interesting information about the oil drilling done in the area including what life was like at the time in the area. They also had some neat glowing rock samples (in a black light booth) that my kids enjoyed.
I wouldn't say this is a destination stop, but if you're in the area and have an hour or two it could be a pleasant diversion for yourself...
