Farms For City Kids Foundation — Attraction in Reading

We were traveling through Vermont, at the Hildene, Lincoln Family Home, when we met a young lady cheese maker visiting. Ellie told us about the farm she works at, and helps make some wonderful cheese. Sounded interesting. We told her we would visit if we got the chance. We did. And when we arrived this remarkable young lady gave us a great tour of the cheese making facilities and the grounds where the cows were milked and the calves were cared for. The care and enthusiasm Ellie has for the place really shows. All the people there were so helpful and friendly, I would recommend a visit here any time. AND THE CHEESE...
