Bethel Church Redding — Attraction in Redding

Amazing place amazing people. Been in this environment for two years now. Was previously a missionary overseas I have been to many churches and been a follower of Jesus and serving Him in ministry for over 10 years now. All that to say this place is absolutely wonderful. Their depth of insight, wisdom and theology are very very good and above all the presence of God is here. He is with these people as they love others and serve Him. I have been impacted by God’s powerful love so many times since being here. No place is perfect, but some people in their search for perfection (or what their idea of perfect is) miss God even if He is right in front of them. Just like the religious leaders did when condemned the Son of God, even though he was standing right in front of them. Jesus didn’t fit their pre-conceived expectations of what the workings of God looked like so they rejected Him outright. If Jesus had many reject Him and hate Him so will those who follow Him, that’s what He promised us in the scriptures. That is also I think the reason why there are so many overly harsh negative reviews on here. Jesus promised that if we were to follow Him we will get the same treatment as He did. Still it’s worth it. Knowing Him. Following Him, loving Him and being criticized for Him, paying the price to know Him more. That is what this company believers do so well. They don’t compromise or even care what the critics say, they care more about following Jesus. They are after God and seeing His kingdom come on earth. That’s why I love that I get to be in this place for a time before my family and I go back and serve Jesus in...

In response to Jesh Detter and other doubters and naysayers, there is documented evidence of healings at Bethel Church...and even more so wasn't it Jesus who said to us: "Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received; freely give." -Matthew 10:8. HE has spoken it.

What would the devil gain in giving Jesus glory and honor and fame? What would the devil gain from the love of Jesus being spread to those around him? What would the devil gain in making God and Christians look good? It just doesn't make sense. If this is a "fraud" then it is a fraud that makes God look good and brings him glory. Just like when people were casting out demons in the Lord's name in the NT and the disciples got angry because they weren't followers of Jesus. And Jesus said that it didn't matter because God was glorified anyway.

In my experience, Bethel Church is full of beautiful people who are a family. They honor one another, they have sound biblical doctrine and teach NOTHING but the Bible. And yes, they do exercise all of the gifts mentioned in the New Testament, but do so with honor and praise to God. Once I was a doubter too...but All truth belongs to GOD...and truth is being practiced and spoken at Bethel Church.

I believe there, can be good and bad in all things, I was told as a young adult,this church was a colt and for a long time believed what I was told then one day a friend of mine named James asked me if I wanted to go to church with him, Yes before I even knew what church he wanted to go to, when he told me bethel I revealed my thoughts to him about (that church) I said he calmly smiled and even a slight giggle 🤭 he said well how about we go together and you can decide for your self and if it's as bad as you think then we can leave. So I went, There are some moments in our lives that are just unforgettable, that day was one of those moments or one of those days I found my church, my heart's church (my grandma told me I would find it one day, that everyone has a home or heart church,and it's not always the one you grow up in)three things happened that day, one I found my church, two, I found out you can't always trust what someone tells you in this case, you need to see for yourself, and three, the devil really really did not want me going to this place, but once I'm there God is therein this place I want to be were he is and I thank you for everything,and I am sorry to anyone who might not feel so at home there the way I do, it just might not be your heart church, doesn't mean it's bad, it's just for a different kind of sinner ,thank you papa...
