Fantasy Fountain — Attraction in Redding

This is a great free place to take your kids in the hot summers we have. It runs daily from memorial day to labor day. It's really just an area in the park where automated fountains are available to get wet in. There's a big volcano that errupts about every 10 mins.

There is no supervision. No park employee keeping an eye on the kids. It is the parents responsibly to keep your kids safe. I cannot express how important this is. The ground is painted concrete. It is very slippery. Please don't let your children run here. I highly advise aqua socks. A serious injury is a very real possibility. This park was awesome!! The water feature was great, but the playground right next to it was the coolest playground i have been to. They jave a huge gazebo with shaded picnic tables, a few very large grills, lots of grass... and the playground had features for babies and toddlers, as well as people with disabilities. I can not get over what a great park this was, for the entire family! LOVED...

This is a great free water park for small children, I just wish that the extremely loud volcano sounds would be turned down or off. There were children holding their ears, and it was unpleasant to hear as an adult. If your children (or you) have sensory issues, you may unfortunately want to avoid this.
