Fun ZoneZ — Attraction in Redford Township

Disappointed. Never again. Terrible customer service. This place is so cool and so clean which is why I’m extra disappointed. I had a birthday party here and the way I was treated is shameful. It began with the booking process. I booked in the middle of the day and put down my deposit. I was called around 8pm and was told that my reservation needed to be canceled because, “I literally just booked another party with someone else for the same day and time.” I booked hours earlier, why are you calling me. Customer service should be that the person booking after me should have been told that day and time is not available. This should have been a red flag to just cancel but… I came in a week before the even to meet and organize my requests. I was told I would have a host with me to help set up 30 min before my event time and they would be in the room with me the entire time, I also requested food at 3:00 and was very specific about the amount of cards I needed and what needed to be on them. None of this went smoothly. I had a handful of different people popping in at random moments for like one second before they got pulled away. Needless to say I had no help with set up. Guests arrived and they were asking for their cards, how embarrassing is it to have guests either think they had to get their own or had to ask. I didn’t get my cards until an hour after my reservation time. What good kids, waiting as patiently as possible for an hour to go and play. Then when I got the cards they weren’t even loaded so my guests came back saying there was nothing on the card. How embarrassing again. So clearly food was not on time. It was nearly 4:00 when I asked for it to come out at 4 (I planned 3:00 so it’s already an hour late). So after 4:00 I asked where the food was and with an attitude was told it would be at 4:30 because when I asked for it at 4, I didn’t give enough notice. Not ok, what was the point of meeting before and putting in writing the time I wanted the food. When I expressed how upset I was as I was waiting for the food, I was told “I think you feel this way before you’re worried you have to be out at 4:30”. Please don’t tell my how I feel. I’m mad because guests are confused, hungry and leaving. Then I was told “Well we are delayed with everything because literally today at 9:30 this morning a pregnant person called to book 50 adults and 60 kids for the same time.” Ok so my party doesn’t matter anymore? So it’s 4:30 and half my guests left but all the food comes out. Half my guests are there to sing happy birthday and eat all this food I paid for for double the amount of people who were still there. Took home nearly all of the cupcakes and the cake wasn’t even cut because most people had to leave at 4:30, that’s the time on the invite that was indicated the party was from 2:30-4:30. The food was not even good, definitely not worth all the poor customer service I experienced. Nobody apologized for anything or owned up to making a mistake, instead I was given attitude and bad excuses. This place is fun, my kid loves it and it is clean, like really clean!! Too bad I’ll never come back. If you want to go, I wouldn’t book an even, just show up for an hour or two. If you do book an event, make sure you’re pregnant and book a really large party. Went to this place with some residents from my job. The first time it was nice, the second time I took them back these people profiled us as we played the games they stood about 4 feet from every game we played as some of the staff stood laughing we didn't know why, but they would run to the games and wipe them down making us and the residents from the AFC home feel uncomfortable I walked up to one of them with my bodycam on letting them know they were unprofessional and very rude and mean. The Manager came over to us once I gave the young man my card to let them know I would be letting the black community know not to come to such a rude place that would make fun of black disabled young men. The Manager came over with an awful disposition asking us what can he do for us I told him nothing that we were here the previous week and still had credits on our cards and just wanted to finish playing our credits because we won't be back. The Manager (Arab descent) told us they always wipe down the machines after customers finish playing the games. I informed him it wasn't what they were doing but the way they were doing it with these grim faces. He got upset and walked away. as the residents were finishing up the game they were on, I walked out and waited a few minutes walked back in and no one had went over to the last game they played and wiped it down why was that seeing that they had to stand over our shoulders to run and wipe down the other games. CRICKETS! NO one said anything so I preceded to let them know they were being racist and rude to disabled customers and I would let the black community know not to support this establishment. The didn't know I was a talk show host. After they treated us so bad and I gave them my business card they did go outside to see my sign on my vehicle. I knew about this place through an advertisement on the radio, this place is very far from my location, but after the experience, my family and I found that it is worth traveling all this distance to have a special family time. The staff were friendly and professional, taking good care of the kids safety. And there is one staff member to observe each one of the attractions to watch the kids, help them, and to sanitize the game regularly. The place is very clean and the workers disinfected everything a lot. The most important thing that distinguishes the place is the cleanliness and many choices of games and entertainment suitable for all ages. As well as the distinctive restaurant in the place, which is also having a special menu with many choices, as well as the Advantage that the food menu is halal. The food is very tasty, clean and served perfectly. The party rooms there are very nice, unique, gives you and your guests good privacy and comfortable place. They also have a VIP party room for the big number of guests. Besides the cleanliness of the place, the deliciousness of their food, and the safety there, also the prices of the games and the food are reasonable. And they make a special offers during some weekdays and during holidays and school breaks. We have visited this place 4 times now and I highly recommend it. 👍 If there were more than 5 stars, they...
