Went there around evening time, and it was surprisingly not packed at all, mainly people with boats towards the end of the park, the only annoying things I'd have to say about it was that the bathrooms were locked, and the the stray cats is a real problem. You can go there for a nice picnic (or table) lunch but it also accommodates for birthday parties as well. Read moreThere are restroom, sand, fish, cement and dirt parking lot, you choose where you want to park your car. There are shade for the hot sun. Its a great place to swim and the water are clear. There are also boat launch. There are certain area that are safe for kids to swim however I would highly suggest to keep eyes on the kids because it's a river.
