TREATED VERY POORLY BY STAFF AND MEDICS AFTER GETTING SICK BEFORE THE SHOW BEGAN I attended a concert at this venue this past Saturday, & to say I'm disappointed with the way I was treated by the staff would be an understatement. I have been battling some serious stomach issues for the last 7 months on & off. There isn't much warning, it comes on pretty quick so I had no way of knowing this would happen at the show. While sitting on the lawn waiting for the show to start, I began to feel sick. I ran to the restrooms closest to the lawn entrance, only to be told by security that it was "closed". When I explained that it was an emergency & that I needed to vomit & asked if I could please just use the trash can in there, the man shrugged his shoulders & just stared at me. In a panic, I ran trying to find the next closest restroom. I, of course, did not make it. I vomited two separate times (not in a restroom but out in the open in front of everyone where I was laughed at) before making it to a restroom. I finished my business & kindly asked the restroom attendant if there was a medical tent I could sit & rest at while I call my husband to pick me up. She tried just giving me oral directions, I asked if she could guide me as I'm not feeling well at all & am not familiar with the venue. She seemed irritated with me but began to guide me. I was then drilled with questions asking why I was alone & then why my friends couldn't help me out. Half way to the medics, another employee scolded this restroom attendant for guiding me to the medics, & I was then left to fend for myself. I had to ask another security guard where to go & if I was headed in the right direction. When I finally made it to the medic building, I was brushed off for a good 10 minutes before someone finally asked what was going on with me. When I let them know that I had been vomiting & feeling very sick, all they could say was "okay" before beginning to walk away. I had to ask for water, they gave me a room temp water bottle. I sat in there for another couple of minutes before being told I had to leave & wait outside for my ride. Mind you, the medic building had ONE other person inside other than staff, an 18 year old girl who planned on going back into the show. She was allowed to stay inside, but I was not. I can understand the frustration of dealing with intoxicated and disrespectful concert patrons, but this was absolutely not the case. I was very polite, even apologized to every staff member I had to interact with for the inconvenience. I am VERY disappointed with my experience here and can't say that I'll be back for another show based off this experience alone. I heavily considered volunteering to work the stands for this venue with a friend this summer, and boy am I glad I decided against it. I would be embarrassed to be employed here after seeing how your staff treats concert goers. I'll be sure to let my friends & family know of my experience as well, as I would never want someone I care about to be disregarded this way in such a...

DISABLED PERSON REVIEW: I bought my tickets several months in advance, and a week before the show, I got in an accident where I broke my ankle. I knew that our normal seats weren't going to work for me, I figured I could try switching them to ADA seating. I called Stub Hub, Ticketmaster, and the venue itself (called the venue 3x total) and I was always met with different answers, but the answers they kept giving me was that there was nothing they could do. They couldn't switch my ticket or seat, and they didn't have any available for purchase. Or I was told they would call me the next day and they never did. The solution they kept suggesting was that I show up right as the gates opened to get some reserved ADA for first come, first serve basis. They didn't open gates for over an hour because of the weather. So me and a thousand other people are standing outside in the smouldering heat + rain waiting to get in. The weather updates they sent said to "stay in your cars" because of the lightning, but in my case, I couldn't sit in my car if I wanted a chance at getting ADA seating. And because there were so many people standing outside as soon as gates opened (because they opened over an hour after they were supposed to), there was no real lines to get through security, it was just chaos. I wish the staff told people to get into lines instead of swarming the security guards. I also heard the security guards (and other staff members throughout the day), say "well they didn't really explain, so it's probably fine" in talking about whether or not someone was able to bring in a metal waterbottle. When I got in and explained the several people I had to call to get to this point, they were pretty relaxed about it and didn't have me jump through a bunch of steps like I was expecting. They just moved my seat and I didn't have to pay extra for it. The girl next to me and I were talking, and she said that she had been told the same thing, except she had been trying to get her seats changed for months. They just wouldn't let you change your seat. She'd been waiting outside for 3 hours to get a seat. Getting around was pretty easy, and the pavement was relatively smooth. Not the best but I've seen worse. Getting out of the parking lot was hell. For a little over an HOUR, all of the cars in the parking lot were at a standstill. Not a single person moved. I have no idea why, but this seems like a common occurrence. It seems like if you don't purchase ADA seating, then you're SOL, and that you just have to hope they'll have enough extra seats for you. There seemed to be plenty of ADA seating left in my section, but I can't speak for the other sections. Overall there was a lack of communication and it was stressful because I didn't know if I was going to be able to see the concert or not until I was literally inside...

The venue itself is amazing. I’ve read comments about parking but I always buy premium and have no issues. Usually out in 5 minutes. I am giving this 1 star due to my experience tonight that I want to be sure others are aware of. I don’t drink so I can’t comment on the price of that. The staff running the merch booths though are amazing.

The venue is absolutely awful with updating on rain delays. Doors were supposed to open at 5pm for a concert tonight, and they decided at 9pm to open them. They did not give staff updates and posted on social media once an hour being as vague as possible. Listen I get that it’s up to the musician as well as with the weather but you clearly don’t care about the safety of your staff or the concert goers if you’re allowing people to stand outside while it’s lightning. My group waited in the car but I felt extremely awful for the staff members actively forced to stand out during lightning storms that kept passing through the area.

I don’t understand how other venues like northerly island who deals with rain storms all the time have amazing communication with their staff and the concert goers but you can’t? Huge L. The parking I can deal with. The fact that so many people ended up leaving for fear of being stuck in the bad cells that literally blew roofs off of houses and lack of communication from your venue is ridiculous. Hire an intern that can run social media. Whomever is doing it now isn’t doing a good job. Even when you posted that the doors would open to the venue and people lined up, staff were then told no and the concert was cancelled. Which it was not the case. Lack of communication will be why people don’t choose this venue

Also to add: to avoid refunds they decide to open the doors 4 min after an insane close by lightning strike that hit. But for hours told us no we have to wait 30 min for an all clear to enter. The lack of communication ultimately is on the venue. I know the musician (Offspring) should have postponed like they did with another show but the fact that you clearly don’t care about your staff or anyone coming to your venue says a lot about what you stand for morally and ethically. Insanely rushed set to try to get thru as cutoff time for the city ordinance is 11pm. Jimmy eat world came on for a super quick set while people actively were still in line trying to enter the venue. NFG didn’t go on and fyi for others who may go to this venue, it’s a flooder. Staff at the frozen beverage booths were yelling trying to warn people about all the massive puddles.

Update: what’s disgusting is that the venue has since deleted their...
