I've grown up doing stuff at the Lion's Park. I love this park. It is a wonderful park and the city of Richfield does a great job at keeping it nice, but today my boys and i went to ride on the little skate park and i was a little disappointed. It's been years since I've been there and the ramps and such are starting to show their age, but the main thing is the lack of maintenance.. some of the ramps are missing bolts and starting to fall apart. I'm sure the skate ramps were expensive and its my goal to figure out how we can help get them back into shape. The Lion's Park really is one of my favorite parks in town.

Nice upgrades going in here in early 2024! These updates are bringing a new life to what has felt like an old and tired park that hadn't changed much since I was a kid. It will be interesting to see what happens with the swimming pool and how it further revitalizes this area. Restrooms aren't open in the winter so be aware of coming during the cold weather season. We have walked through here with carloads of folks who seem to be smoking marijuana and hanging out. Sometimes there is trash left around, so let's rally as a community to pick up and keep the few outdoor, public areas we have in good condition!

Beautiful park, the grass is perfect there, nice bathrooms. Shade for parking up. The kids playground has a sit down zipline that's pretty cool. And there is a indoor pool right next to it, Baseball diamond and a little small skate park there as well.

Love Lions Park...wish they'd sweep the leaves from the basketball court and provide better night lighting so we can use it after the sun goes down.. and maybe upgrade the playground equip to sustain the amount of kids that use it. The special needs swing needs to be fixed., the seatbelt has been broken for 1.5 years. The Skate Park is in serious need of some repair, and the sad thing is, it gets used ALL the time! Maybe replace the Horseshoe Park (which I've never seen used) with a water pad???? But all that aside, it's a beautiful, mature park with lots of shade and access to the pool, a baseball diamond/soccer field (bring your own goal posts), a huge grassy, open area, BBQ pit. Tables and shelter for large gatherings, and the playground, skate Park & Horseshoe Park (bring...
