   Read moreThis is a pretty state park, very tranquil, not overly crowded. To get to the trail just go into the campground entrance and drive down as far as you can until you see a lot right before the area that requires a permit. Then just walk down the road past the campgrounds and you will come across the trail head. There are markers along the way so you know how far you have gone. There is only one 2.5 mile trail here, and it is flanked by two bodies of water, so bug spray isn't a bad idea...
