A nice little camp ground by the Maumee River in a narrow wooded stretch along the bank. My biggest negatives are that there is a road pretty close to the campground that is a little loud and also several loud trains in the distance that you can hear day and night. Some of the camp sites are pretty close together too. The foliage is very nice though and well shaded for the most part. There is a nice wooded 3 mile dirt trail that parallels the river by the campground that we saw a few foxes and raccoons on. If you just want to walk on the trail, park at the sign and walk all the way back to where the pavement ends and you will see a stone trail. The dam is at the beginning of the park.
