I brought my dog here to check out the dog park, and was favorably impressed. It was early afternoon on a weekday and we had the place to ourselves. The facilities were great, with separately fenced areas for both large and small dogs. I estimate the large dog area to be at least 2 acres in size with shaded benches and a small pool area for water dogs to enjoy splashing in. There are a couple of stainless steel water bowls and a water faucet and hose within the large dog area. Yes, there is water, yes people have been seen fishing and feeding birds, whether or not there is anything good to be caught I couldn't tell you. There are tennis courts, soccer fields, and other sporting areas, and you can see many local school, select, and recreational teams practicing. For those with small kids, fear not, this park is not known as a common hang out spot for us older kids, unless you are actively practicing for a sport.
