This short .7 mile trail got us a great 3 mile wark of the area. Green Creek Trail is part of Coastal Georgia Greenway. The park entrance comes up quickly and doesn’t have a sign until you are right in front of it so we missed the entrance and had to do a u-turn and try again. It’s a small paved parking area for about a dozen cars.
There are a few signs at the start of the paved path. One tells the history of the trail which dates back to the 1930s and Henry Ford.
What makes this trail worth going to is the beauty of the area. You get to walk through a swampy area that feels untouched but the history tells a different story. Almost halfway down the trail you come to a side path with a bridge over the creek that leads to a large multi use park, allowing you to extend the walk beyond the 1.4 mile round trip main trail.
