Larry G. Crites Memorial Park — Attraction in River View Township

First of all, the evening light at this park is just yummy! It is the perfect place for an evening stroll while basking in the most delightful sunlit glow. We love the new walking path! There is nothing else like this in our area. At least not that I know of. We used to drive down to Arnold or Fenton for a decent place to walk with a stroller and kids on bikes. Thank you for putting this in! We have been enjoying it so much! Also, the park is under a shade canopy which is great on a hot day and surrounded by benches! Honestly the park itself is great. The playgrounds are nice and the picnic area is nice as well, but in the parking lot, near the baseball field- me and my son were getting into my car and my sons ball rolled over to the side. He went to get it; and as I am watching him, I see a little clear bag out of the corner of my eye and it was EXACTLY what you are thinking it was!!

Please keep an eye on your kiddos. At this park and at every park or wherever else you go. There’s too many people who are ignorant, high, and dont care what happens to...

This is one of Festus best asset! It's always a beautiful and tranquil visit. The playground is covered so the little ones can now play with less chance of sunburn. The park offers 2 beautiful ponds, a wonderful fitness walk path, a frisbee golf course, pavilions for group gatherings, Picnic tables, grills, benches close to the ponds as well as a bandstand for musical entertainment. It's a safe place for jogging or bicycling throughout the park.
