Beautiful park with Joachim creek that runs behind it and under the bridge. My husband and I decided to go check out the creek in the park and when we got there we noticed there was the firecracker festival going on. Walked around and ate a funnel cake, corn dog and a delicious orange drink. We parked in the field across from the park so we opened the tailgate to our SUV, sat there and watched the sunset while my husband played with his drone. Very relaxing...

Very nice, clean and family friendly. Restrooms could use some TLC. Looked like several families made regular trips to the playground. Even saw an egret by the lake. Lots of dogs there too. Good for exercising both...
