I remember coming here as a kid and playing softball. It was a great experience here. Going as a kid, it was fun, energetic; it felt magical, special. Now visiting as an adult, I notice things that little me didn't. The sidewalk surrounding the park is about a mile, making it a convenient place to walk jog and even run. There's plenty of places around the park where you can sit and just relax. My favorite are the hills by both the softball and baseball fields.
The rec center has plenty of activities for everyone. From different consoles for kids to play on to Zumba classes for adults. There truly is something here for everybody. Another amazing thing about this park is the community. There are people here who know every person they've run into here by name and build a relationship with them. I personally am not one of those people, and yet every time I visit, I feel as though I am still part of...

Really nice center with a playground and plenty of sports sections. The center itself hosts all sorts of classes and has video games and ping pong tables. The library across is spaceous and has plenty of room to wander off and study or work. There are 3 rooms available and are so convenient for extra privacy, or when there are no seats available which tends to happen sometimes. Large conference room in the front is especially cold usually, so bring a sweater, lol.
BUT....
I give it the bad rating because Anderson's Playschool has got to be discontinued. Mrs. Anderson yells at the kids and emotionally abuses them. The kids are usually around 3 so that's why she feels she can get away with it. She needs to have her business shut down, but the community center doesn't care as long as they get their...
Read moreI love this park. It includes a library, a community center, a large baseball field, another field for football, soccer, or other sports, a playground, and a splash pad. You can also walk on the sidewalk around the park, which is almost one mile. The community center includes many activities for all ages, from toddlers to seniors. The only things missing to make it perfect is a pool and tennis courts. It is safe and rarely have I seen a homeless person, which is often a problem in other parks and near libraries. There is also ample parking. There are parking spots along the curb, in the two large parking lots on each side of the park, and a third parking lot, which is spots, on the west side of the park. It does get packed with cars for after-school activities, but I've always been able to...
