Thundersky Park — Attraction in Riverside

City needs to pay more attention to local park upkeep! Grass is waterer un proportionally and needs fixed! Submitted complaint to 311 and less than a day later was closed claiming "Sprinklers adjusted" which is a complete lie! A sprinklers were the same and not reaching any of complete dead grass sections! Also have complained about lights being out(3-4) in park and 4-6 months later still not replaced. The water fountain water never gets cold and park slides/equipment could use refurbishment looks like worn out plastic on slides and benches need touch up on paint. The park isn't terrible overall, but people don't pick up after their dogs and use it as an off-leash dog park, which is a little bit of a struggle when I walk my dog who is still being trained. Having dogs run up to us is startling for me and has my dog start to really disobey me trying to go play. I have been using it to train her to ignore and listen however. There is a lot of empty space and no restrooms. I wish they would add more to it, like a public pool...

I took the grandkids out to have a little fun in the sun. We enjoyed the park, they played on the swings, monkey bars, and ran around like kids do.
