Ok so, I love this park tremendously! I mean, it's perfectly wedged in an elegant neighborhood overlooking Riverside that leads to open trails which you can hike through. Tons of wildlife, birds, butterflies, lizards, snakes, bunnies and is dog friendly! There's a dual children's playground, one for older, one for younger, with a shaded parental sitting zone located in between both and during the summer there's a free water play area (takes me back to my childhood in Whittier)! There's a basketball court, baseball field, two separate picnic sites with bbq grills, plenty of space to run or explore and scenic areas to simply hang out in and during sunset, there's a breathtaking sunset sitting viewing spot AND the most fantastic photos are taken here however, THERE ARE NO FRIEKIN BATHROOMS! NOT COOL. DROPPED MAJOR STARS FOR ME! Yup, had to find this out the hard way taking my little one here! Of course she had to poop and as I realized the search for a nonexistent bathroom was gonna get me nowhere, we had to improvise lol This marvelous park would have...
Read moreAmazing park for my one year old. They have two separate playgrounds one for toddles and one for older children. The playground for toddlers has really low stairs to help them up and down the structure as well as one toddler slide. There are gymnast and monkey bars as well for the older kids to swing on.
The playground for older children has a swing set with two regular swings and two toddler swings. It has two short slides and one large slide and a mini rock climbing wall that four-year old should have no problem getting up on.
Outside of that there is a mini water park that is sometimes on in the summer. A basketball court, a small baseball field and picnic areas throughout the park. You can also go to the top of the hill for a beautiful sunset/sunrise view .
Cons: There are paths leading to hiking trails far away from the park, but in the summer there tends to be rattle snakes on the trails. There are no restrooms at this park and limited parking space as well as a 8 P.M. parking curfew...

One of its most striking features is the ability to see the city from this elevated spot, offering fantastic panoramic views. The park is consistently clean and well-maintained, making for a pleasant experience. It's an especially wonderful location to enjoy the sunset, with the sky often putting on a spectacular show over the city.
While it can be a little bit sunny and windy, especially on clear days, these minor points don't detract from the overall appeal. Be aware that parking can be a bit tight, especially on busy days, as the park tends to attract many people. Despite the crowds, there's a good atmosphere, and you'll find space to relax or engage in various activities. For families with younger children, there's a small park area specifically designed for...
