This place is one of the last wooden play castles still standing in Pittsburgh. With the new call to make parks "safer", I worry if this one will be torn down for a new, smaller, less exciting experience. Here's hoping it stays up for decades to come! **Update** Go figure mere months after I posted this, Robinson Township announced that they'll be demolishing the structure and putting in a new one. I'm so glad that I took a picture of what it used to look like, because most new structures these days are so sterile and boring. Here's hoping we get more than what Crafton replaced their wooden castles with. What a shame...

Extremely nice park! Well maintained and it is fully fenced in, which makes it much more comfortable to let your kids be kids. Playground is conveniently wheelchair accessible as well. A nice covered picnic area is right beside the playground. Only down side would be the hill from the parking lot. Also has a very nice bathroom less than 40 feet from the playground for those emergency potty breaks!

A hidden gem. One of the best park I ever went too. Very nicely made. The sand area perfects and was separate from other areas. Hours of fun for free. They have a public restroom which was very clean and a water fountain. It has something to do for all ages. You can clean your kid's feet in the men's restroom so no sand in your vehicle. Definitely will go back!!!

Nice groves for parties. Bicentennial grove has new kitchen area with fridge and new bathrooms. (NOTE: One downside is the between 6 and 8pm during the summer, there is no water going to the Bicentennial grove, (this includes toilets) as they refill the level of the swimming pool below with a 4inch main, which prevents the flow of water up hill (low/no water pressure) only to this grove during that time period. They don't tell you that, and because you worry about your guests you run around like a madman (ruining the party for yourself) trying to determine if that is something you did or something that you can call the township bldg to help with (They are closed after 4pm...so really no one to call). Seems like something they would give you a heads up about. I doesn't seem like they care.) Aside from that it is a...

Was there yesterday, it was very overcast and there were very few guests and a lot of lifeguards working. Unfortunately, my 18 month old grandson slipped and fell twice, cracking both the back and the side of his head. The entry to the actual pool is so slippery (almost like it was slimy). Not one person came over to see what happened, though he was screaming and left with a huge bump on the back of his head and also on the side above his temple. When I was leaving, I asked one lifeguard what the issue was and he said "everybody slips there - even me" !!!! While I know this pool has just been revamped, this entry area needs to be done with a material that will not become so slippery. It really is a hazard to...
